This measures represents the percent of high school students who reported being physically active at least 60 minutes during each of the past 7 days.

Why is this indicator important?

Physical activity, including both aerobic and strength-training activities, is part of a healthy lifestyle and plays a vital role in achieving and maintaining a healthy weight. Regular physical activity reduces the risk of chronic disease and helps to improve overall health.
